Position Overview

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a well-established law firm in Denver to find an experienced Transactional Legal Assistant. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the legal team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Calendaring of important dates and deadlines.
• Handle time entry for attorneys.
• Proofread legal documents.
• Check invoices before they are sent to clients.
• File documents internally.
• Draft correspondence.
• Edit/format documents.
• Schedule meetings.
• Communicate with clients.
• Book travel arrangements.
• Create expense reports.
• Assist with billing.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of legal assistant experience in a law firm setting.
• Transactional law experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Experience with document management systems (iManage), billing software (Coyote), and timekeeping software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Applicants must CURRENTLY live in the Denver metro area. Out-of-state candidates will not be considered.
• Ability to commute to the firm's office in downtown Denver 2-5 days each week (option to work remotely 2-3 days per week).

Compensation

The pay rate for this role ranges from $31.25 - $38.47 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
