Purpose of Position:

Sportsman’s Warehouse is a quickly growing and profitable omnichannel outdoor sporting goods retailer located in West Jordan, UT, with over 120 store locations nationwide. We’re looking for a motivated and talented Marketplace Channel Manager to grow with our company. The ideal candidate has experience with Amazon, GunBroker, Walmart or other marketplace channels – and has a proven track record of growing sales with online marketplaces.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop and lead a comprehensive marketplace strategy focused on revenue growth and channel expansion.

· Manage a team of virtual assistants to support listing optimization, advertising execution, and creative merchandising.

· Design and implement marketplace-specific campaigns and promotions to boost visibility and sales.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key marketplaces and feed management partners.

· Monitor and optimize product listings, performance metrics, customer feedback, and profitability across channels.

· Identify assortment expansion opportunities through analysis of category performance and consumer demand.

· Collaborate with customer service to create protocols for handling negative reviews and customer inquiries.

· Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and support ecommerce initiatives.

· • Leverage enterprise-level ecommerce and multichannel marketplace software to support operational efficiency.

· • Manage product catalogs, data feeds, and order workflows using integrated ecommerce platforms.

· • Work jointly with pricing and merchandising teams to maintain and implement competitive pricing and margin strategies across all channels.

Qualifications:

1. Seller Account Management and Maintenance: report on and manage the day-to-day tasks of the seller account to keep it in good health and good standing.

2. Amazon Growth Marketing: grow revenues and improve costs in-line with company budget

3. Marketplace Expansion: expand into new 3rd party marketplaces

4. Reporting: develop and analyze reporting to support the continuous marketplace improvement and growth

5. Special Projects: participate in and/or lead the completion of marketplace-related special projects

Education/Experience:

· Proven results of growing multiple marketplace businesses; outdoor industry product knowledge preferred

· 5+ years’ experience with Seller Central; experience with 3rd party marketplace platforms and seller tools preferred

· Expertise with marketplace listing optimization, including navigating Amazon customer service to solve listing issues and blockers

· Familiarity with marketplace advertising (PPC, DSP, and Amazon SEO) to capture traffic and drive sales

· Experience managing deliveries and shipments for marketplace fulfillment centers

· Ability to analyze data and synthesize it into sound, actionable insights

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity at 20 inches or less due to computer work

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee will experience

a moderate noise level (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic)

This position may require some travel.
