We value our employees’ time and efforts. Our commitment to your success is enhanced by a competitive compensation of $60,000 annually, and an extensive benefits package including:

  • Comprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance provided
  • Robust retirement planning: 401(k) plan available with employer matching
  • Financial security: Life and disability insurance for added protection
  • Flexible financial options: Health savings and flexible spending accounts offered
  • Well-being and work-life balance: Paid time off, flexible schedule, and remote work choices provided

Plus, we work to maintain the best environment for our employees, where people can learn and grow with the company. We strive to provide a collaborative, creative environment where everyone feels encouraged to contribute to our processes, decisions, planning, and culture.

What You’ll Do

As Civic Engagement Manager at Woori Center , you lead year-round integrated voter engagement (IVE) efforts to educate, mobilize, and grow the power of Asian American communities in Pennsylvania. You will design and implement strategies that increase voter participation, develop community leaders, and build a strong base to advance racial, economic, and social justice. In addition, you will collaborate on organizing campaigns and contribute to fundraising efforts that sustain and expand our impact.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management, staff supervision, and community organizing; background in civic engagement or social justice strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in English and an Asian language (Korean preferred) is a strong asset.
  • Valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle with insurance, and willingness to travel locally; availability for some evenings and weekends.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for voter outreach, data management (e.g., VAN), and communication.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with experience working in diverse communities; skilled in motivating and training staff, interns, and volunteers.

As the Civic Engagement Manager at Woori Center, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop and manage a year-round field plan, including goals, tactics, budgets, and timelines to mobilize Asian American communities through voter registration, education, and outreach.
  • Hire, train, and oversee full-time staff, part-time canvassers, and interns; provide youth fellows and volunteers leadership development opportunities.
  • Manage voter databases (e.g., VAN), track program metrics, and produce reports to evaluate effectiveness and improve targeting strategies.
  • Represent Woori Center in coalitions and public events; build partnerships and contribute to communications and educational materials.
  • Participate in organizational campaigns, staff meetings, and compliance processes; support fundraising, programming, and strategic planning efforts.
