Key Responsibilities

  • Partners with manager to develop and execute strategies for their assigned business
  • Strong time management and organization of data and product information to ensure on time and accurate execution of plans
  • Develop sales forecast for new products/category, analyze and monitors sales trend, variances and issues and execute aligned actions to drive sales

  • Defines problems and seeks solutions by examining issues and ideas through inquiry, analysis, dialogue and evaluation
  • Accountable for assigned Category P&L within the framework of their manager's and division's goals.
  • Assist in identifying category trends and insights by evaluating competitive products, market share, pricing, advertising, and maintaining department databases with findings.
  • Takes intiative to become SME, curiously investigating and learning
  • Execute with a high sense of urgency in a fast and agile environment
  • Data analytics skills to be able to mine data, understand the drivers of your business
  • Maintains strong, effective relationships with cross-functional team and Vendors.

Competencies and skills

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years' experience in Product Management or related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Understanding of industrial distribution, sales metrics, business fundamentals, merchandising strategies and assortment planning
  • Solid interpersonal skills to both written and verbal
  • Stong time management and project management skills

  • Familiar with P&L and Accounting Terminology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain strong, effective internal and external relationships to drive innovation and product development.
