Application Engineer - OEM Industrial Pumps
Our client, an internationally recognized pump Company, is searching for an experienced pump application engineer. Position can be remote.
Job Summary
The Application Engineer position supports sales managers and representatives to ensure efficient and accurate pump
quotes. The Application Engineer also processes pump orders and manages projects. The position will work closely
with all departments, including Accounting, Engineering and Manufacturing.
Primary Job Duties
• Provide pump quotes to customers/representatives in a timely manner.
• Effectively consolidate all required documentation for timely and accurate order processing into our system.
• Maintain bills of materials (BOMs): update information, able to add-delete-change parts and/or materials.
• Ability to create order specs and make revisions.
• Ability to create submittals and/or collect technical documentation such as BOMs, drawings, curves, test
data and certifications from other departments.
• Be able to work with engineering on troubleshooting cases. Find out cause and solution of the problem.
• Be able to answer questions about technical functionality to customers.
• Technical support for Customer Service department.
• Work on projects and engineering firms, able to analyze data and create exception if applies.
• Comply with corporate goals, objectives and policies.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience with pumps or similar industrial equipment
A candidate must have experience with rotating equipment: pumps, compressors, turbines or mechanical seals.
The company provides compensation competitive with the industry which includes a base salary plus uncapped commissions.
