Job Description

The HT Group is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for our client located in Sulphur, LA. This is a contract-to-hire position offering $16-$17hr. The standard work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, with overtime available during peak times.
Drug screening will be required upon offer, conducted in Orange, TX. The warehouse is indoors and covered, but not air-conditioned. Sneakers and shorts are acceptable attire; steel-toe boots are not required.
Responsibilities:
Assist with shipping/receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise
Match purchase orders to sales orders and route to sales team
Move and organize materials in designated areas
Sort and stock items by size, type, or product code
Fulfill and assemble customer orders from stock
Prepare orders for shipment or pickup
Maintain accurate inventory logs and assist with physical counts
Keep warehouse clean, safe, and accessible
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience
Ability to lift and move heavy materials
Basic computer skills for inventory and filing tasks
Forklift certification is a plus but not required
Must pass a drug screening (conducted in Orange, TX) upon offer
Must pass background - No: Felonies / Violence / Theft
Must be reliable and dependable
