Position Summary:

The VP of Business Development will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of all staffing divisions across multiple states and nationwide. This leader will develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand our market share, strengthen client relationships, and enhance revenue generation. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for Temporary, Temp-to-Perm, and Permanent Placement staffing across Light Industrial and Professional Services sectors and other staffing verticals. 
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, partnerships, and key client relationships to drive revenue growth. 
  • Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and clients need to refine business strategies. 
  • Expand On Site Personnel’s footprint in PA, NJ, MD, TX, OH, and other target markets nationwide. 
  • Lead the sales and account management teams to ensure high-performance execution of business development initiatives. 
  • Lead high-level sales presentations and negotiations for major contracts. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the efficient delivery of staffing solutions that align with client expectations. 
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team. 
  • Implement sales training programs, incentive plans, and performance metrics to drive results. 
  • Foster a results-driven culture, ensuring alignment between business development and operational execution. 
  • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance business development success. 
  • Set and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets, ensuring sustainable growth. 
  • Oversee the budget and financial planning for business development activities. 
  • Build relationships with industry associations, trade organizations, and business networks to increase brand visibility. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. 
  • Monitor sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline management using CRM tools. 
  • Work closely with finance to develop pricing strategies and ensure profitability of staffing services. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in business development within the staffing/recruitment industry. 
  • Proven experience in developing and leading high performing sales teams. 
  • Strong understanding of Light Industrial and Professional Services staffing markets. 
  • Demonstrated ability to expand business operations across multiple states and drive nationwide growth. 
  • Exceptional negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies aligned with company goals. 
  • Experience leading high-performing sales and business development teams. 
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and revenue growth planning. 
  • Proficient in CRM software 
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support business expansion efforts.
