Job Description:

The Test Technician position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical/electronic equipment.

Job Core Responsibilities

* Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.

* Maintain an acceptable safety record.

* Willing to learn to test and troubleshoot various products as required.

* Completes necessary training to maintain knowledge and skills required for job performance

* Follow written and verbal instructions.

* Position requires overtime to production schedules and demands.

* Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.

* Self-monitor work progress against fast-paced area benchmarks and achieve on time delivery of all work

* Assist with area efficiency and 6S improvement projects

* Assist other departments with job duties and tasks, as needed within the scope of expertise

* Perform maintenance and alteration tasks in accordance with the current technical data provided in the

* manufacturers" instructions for continued airworthiness, services bulletins, service letters, airworthiness

* directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the

* FAA.

* Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, with limited supervision.

* Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.

* Other responsibilities as assigned

* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and

* weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

Education:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

Years of Experience:

* 0-2 years prior work experience in an electronics Manufacturing/Testing environment

Skills:

* Ability to utilize manual and automated test equipment to test digital and analog circuitry.

* Ability to read schematics and understand the circuit function.

* Must be able to communicate fluently in technical terms both verbally and in writing.

* Ability operates environmental test chambers

* Experience with MS Office Suite

* Must be computer literate.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful, and able to work both independently and in a

* team environment"

Physical Requirements

* Approximately 80% sitting and 20% standing/walking about in-door Company facilities.

* Lift and Carry up to 45 lbs.

* Use hand tools, and power tools.

* Use head and neck in static position, looking up/down and side-to-side.

* Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands.

* Perform light lifting from floor, table and shelf.

* Push and pull carts or mobile tables, loaded and unloaded.

* Minimal: heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders,

* kneeling.

* Minimal: exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, hazardous equipment, uneven walking surfaces
