Junior Analyst/Data Specialist - Political Sales Team

Hybrid - (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

Contract: 06/02-11/31/2026

Location: Bethesda, MD or Latham, NY

Pay: $20/hr

JOB SUMMARY

This position will support the Political Sales Team in several facets, but will focus primarily on Political compliance. THIS IS NOT A SALES ROLE. This individual will be responsible for leading communication between internal and external teams to ensure we are compliant with our internal and legal requirements. Additionally, this role will be responsible for providing daily, weekly and ad hoc revenue and data reporting to various sales teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• THIS IS NOT A SALES ROLE.
• Works directly with the Spectrum Reach Compliance team and lead QA auditor to ensure internal and legal requirements are met.
• Responsible for providing direction and support to eliminate any barriers in day to day workflow.
• Responsible for providing daily and weekly Political revenue reporting to the Sales team.
• Review reporting for inaccuracies, and initiate resolution of data variances and discrepancies.
• Oversees issues with ad copy requirements and responsible for communicating to Sales to resolve in a timely manner.
• Supports Political Sales Team with presentation materials and other special projects.
• Providing pre- and post-sales support to Sales and cross-functional teams.
• Reports directly to the Manager, Political Sales Support and Category Operations.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, is required.
• Excellent communication skills required to service internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload surrounding strict deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, eager to learn and excellent problem solving skills.
• Competent at analyzing data, identifying trends, and appropriately escalating in response.
• A strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
