A well-established non-profit legal organization is seeking a compassionate and motivated Family Law Attorney to advocate for vulnerable individuals and families navigating the legal system. This is a full-time, onsite role focused on providing direct representation in matters such as custody, divorce, child support, and domestic violence. Ideal for attorneys who are passionate about access to justice and making a meaningful impact in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel and direct representation in family law cases , including divorce, custody, visitation, and protective orders
• Handle all aspects of litigation from intake to resolution, including court appearances, motion practice, and settlement negotiations
• Work collaboratively with support staff, social workers, and community partners
• Participate in community outreach and legal clinics to educate individuals on their legal rights and resources
• Maintain detailed case files and reporting in compliance with grant and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar license in [State]
• 1-3 years of experience in family law or general civil litigation preferred
• Strong litigation, advocacy, and negotiation skills
• Deep commitment to serving underserved populations and survivors of abuse
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other) a plus
