Job Description

We’re looking for a Software Developer with a strong background in application integrations and identity access management solutions to join a long-term project supporting a major state agency. This is a remote-first opportunity, but candidates should be located in or near Austin, TX .

About the Role:

As a Software Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing secure software integrations, with a focus on SailPoint IdentityIQ and single sign-on (SSO) solutions using Okta and Azure . You'll collaborate closely with architects, analysts, and project managers to deliver modern identity management solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.

This position is ideal for a self-driven developer who thrives in a collaborative and mission-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, develop, test, and maintain software programs
  • Implement integrations and automation in SailPoint IIQ
  • Support and enhance SSO capabilities using Okta and Azure
  • Develop APIs to manage access policies and facilitate secure interactions with external applications
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to planning and delivery cycles
  • Collaborate across technical and business teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience delivering software solutions in Agile/Scrum environments
  • 4+ years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ development (workflows, rules, policies, connectors)
  • 4+ years of experience with Okta single sign-on integration
  • Experience developing APIs for identity access and system integrations
  • Ability to work independently and make informed technical decisions

Preferred:

  • Experience working on projects for Texas state agencies
  • Familiarity with large-scale government or enterprise IT systems
