ZGF is seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join the marketing team in our Los Angeles office. We are looking for a driven individual who is ready to grow their professional marketing career in a creative, high-energy, collaborative, fun, and team-oriented environment. Our ideal candidate will come from an architecture, engineering, and/or construction background and be comfortable using technical language from these environments.

As a Senior Marketing Coordinator , you will…

• Support general marketing activities, resources, and systems
• Maintain and update information in Deltek Vision (database) about the business development activities of the local office and those of a firmwide nature that are orchestrated through that office, including leads, contacts, and other background information
• Identify specific client and project opportunities through monitoring of newspapers, business journals, client and advanced notice websites, and other sources of RFQ/P advertisements
• Research clients, market trends, and background information associated with business development efforts in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Managers
• Coordinate the preparation of statements of interest, qualifications, proposals, SF330 forms, annual roster responses, brochures, and miscellaneous marketing correspondence
• Strategize and develop high-quality qualification packages, proposals, and presentations:
• Engage relevant internal and external team members to obtain information required to develop qualifications and proposal content; edit technical portions, write and edit non-technical portions of proposals
• Coordinate all proposal materials (e.g., graphics, text, forms, formats, sub-consultant materials) for final deliverables
• Work with graphic design team to create and/or select graphics (e.g., photography, charts, diagrams) to communicate required information
• Serve as a resource to the marketing team and right-hand person to the Senior Marketing Managers for project-specific oversight, organization, and knowledge
• Maintain marketing calendars, to-do lists, and weekly updates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field required
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional marketing experience in the A/E/C industry
• Proficiency in InDesign and Microsoft 365 required; working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and database programs, including Deltek Vision and Axomic OpenAsset, preferred
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills; strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey and receive direction to and from other team members
• Experience in proposal preparation and management
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including leadership, management, and support staff
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize, self-schedule, and work efficiently under multiple deadlines with attention to detail
• Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with minimal oversight
• Demonstrates understanding of market sectors and client relations
• A strong work ethic; a sense of pride in one’s work
• A collaborative and team-oriented disposition
• Exhibits enthusiasm and positive attitude with a sense of humor and grace under pressure
• Cultivates relationships with ZGF marketing colleagues and leadership across the firm

Base Salary Range

$70.000/yr - $81.500/yr
