Growth Engineer – Full Stack Software

Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid)

Base Salary Range: $170,000-$190,000

Backed by top-tier investors and led by a founding team with deep expertise in AI and computer graphics, this company is transforming how artists and developers build high-quality assets—from weeks of manual work to minutes using text and image prompts.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and growth. You’ll be joining a small, high-impact team focused on accelerating user and revenue growth through experimentation, measurement, and rapid iteration.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship full-stack growth experiments across acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization funnels
• Develop internal tools and analytics pipelines to measure the impact of your work
• Work closely with product, marketing, and data teams to identify and implement technical growth opportunities
• Analyze user behavior and conversion data to inform prioritization and optimize product flows
• Move quickly—focusing on speed, experimentation, and impact over long-term systems

Tech Stack

• Frontend: Next.js, React, TypeScript
• Backend: Go, REST APIs
• Tools: SQL, analytics platforms, A/B testing frameworks

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on growth, full-stack, or product development
• Experience building in production with both modern frontend (Next.js/React) and backend (Go) frameworks
• Proven success designing and analyzing A/B tests, experiments, or funnel optimizations
• Strong data intuition and comfort working with event tracking and analytics tools
• Entrepreneurial mindset—you care deeply about users and metrics and aren’t afraid to try bold ideas

Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS, marketplaces, or product-led growth
• Familiarity with marketing attribution and user acquisition strategies
• Prior startup experience in fast-paced environments
