Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Creates and maintains credit and legal files for the department within Bank policy and standards.
• Assists commercial lenders in the booking of loans, including preparation of Loan Input Worksheets, inputting customer information for new borrowers and guarantors, and copying documents for credit files as well as sending original documents to Loan Servicing.
• Assists commercial lenders in the review of documents received from Loan Servicing to ensure information is accurate and complete.
• Processes loan payments, fees, disbursements and advances.
• Assists commercial lenders in the tracking and maintenance of financial reports and covenants.
• Assists commercial lenders in the preparation of Credit Approval Memos and other documents necessary to present a loan for approval.
• Opens appropriate operating accounts for customers by loading information into CBS system, preparing signature cards, banking resolutions and other bank agreements as required.
• Follows up with customers to ensure services are set up in a timely manner and there are no audit or compliance issues.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities and makes the appropriate referral.
• Processes internal fund transfers and outgoing wire transfers according to bank procedures. Other customer service functions to include but not limited to stop payments, ordering checks and answering phones.
• Assists a commercial lending unit in the management of overdrafts, delinquencies, operational and loan losses within bank guidelines.
• Performs other duties as required.
