MyHorryNews.com is a trusted local source for community news, and we are currently looking for a multimedia advertising sales representative who can manage business marketing for our advertisers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through business development, customer service, and effective sales strategies. In addition to our four weekly printed newspapers, myhorrynews.com also publishes two monthly tabloids and special sections, and has a growing digital presence online. We also offer digital services such as selling Facebook (Meta), Google, and programmatic ad sales. My Horry News provides protected territory for selling advertising on our digital and print platforms in the Loris, Conway, Aynor, and Carolina Forest communities, but there are accounts outside these areas that you can manage if you are a qualified candidate. Responsibilities: 

· Selling print and digital advertising through different mediums, including display ads in all newspapers with particular emphasis on all our community newspapers, seasonal publications, digital ads and contests, and special sections.

· Writing sales proposals for new and existing leads.

· Creating ad agreements.

· Managing client list using CRM system.

· Meeting and exceeding sales goals.

· Making cold calls.

· Networking through weekly meetings with local Networking groups.

· Prospecting for new customers.

· Building relationships and servicing advertisers in your assigned territory.

Requirements:

· Self-motivated, organized, energetic, and a team player.

· 1+ years of experience in business or marketing.

· Managing client list using CRM system.

· Efficient in MS Excel and MS Word.

· Must reside in Horry County
