Job Description

A leading food and beverage organization is seeking a safety-driven Production Manager to lead their manufacturing sector. In this role, you'll oversee daily production activities, ensure the delivery of high-quality products, and drive continuous improvement across all lines. You'll lead a team of supervisors and collaborate with cross-functional departments to meet key performance goals in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support production teams, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and budgeting for production tools and supplies.
• Oversee training, development, and performance management for production staff.
• Drive Lean, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Partner with safety, quality, maintenance, HR, and CI teams to implement and uphold best practices.
• Contribute to long-term strategic planning, including capital projects and facility improvements.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in food production.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and achieving business goals.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, FDA, GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead through change and build a high-performance culture.
• Contribute to strategic planning and capital improvement projects.
