Job Description

Abbott & Oaks is a fast-growing vintage and antique jewelry company. We’re known for one-of-a-kind pieces, obsessive attention to detail, and a deeply personal approach to customer experience. We’re looking for a Product Photographer to join our in-house studio team and help capture the craftsmanship and character of every piece that comes through our doors.

This role is ideal for a technically skilled product photographer who thrives in a studio environment, has strong command of lighting and tethered workflows, and takes pride in precision. You’ll be joining our established studio under the direction of our Head Photographer, working alongside a Post-Production team that handles editing and final retouching—allowing you to focus on shooting at the highest standard.

While this position begins as part-time, we anticipate full-time availability in the coming months.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Photograph vintage and antique jewelry for product listings, marketing, and editorial use
  • Shoot tethered and in RAW format, ensuring accurate color, exposure, and fine detail
  • Work with studio lighting and strobes to capture consistent, true-to-life images
  • Perform minor retouching and prepare files for the Post-Production team
  • Maintain studio organization, lighting setups, and image quality control
  • Collaborate with the cataloging and marketing teams to meet weekly product launch timelines
  • Support continuous improvements to studio efficiency and workflow

Who You Are
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with a strong sense of lighting, texture, and composition
  • Experienced in studio product photography, ideally with small-scale or luxury items
  • Proficient in Photoshop
  • Comfortable shooting tethered and working in RAW-only workflows
  • Organized, methodical, and comfortable in a structured studio workflow
  • Collaborative and communicative, with the ability to take direction and uphold brand standards
  • Jewelry or macro photography experience is a major plus

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of product or studio photography experience
  • Strong technical understanding of strobe lighting, macro photography, and color accuracy
  • Portfolio demonstrating clean, consistent, high-quality product photography

Details
  • Part-time, with full-time opportunity in the near future
  • In-person role based in Marblehead, MA
  • $25–$30 per hour, based on experience
