Job Description

Performance Assurance Analyst - Los Alamos, NM

Work Location: Los Alamos National Laboratory Los Alamos, NM

Rate: is open and non-exempt

Hours: 40+ hrs/wk

Per diem: Expenses in accordance with travel policy

Mob / Demob: Reimbursed in accordance with travel Policy

Trip home: 1 per month after 90 days on site

US Citizenship Required

Position Requirements:

Knowledge of DevonWay creating/pulling reports, and analyzing the data pulled from the software (software used for issues management), specifically these segments:

Causal Analysis

Reports

Condition Reports/IMs

Assessments

Experience developing procedures. Guidance documents, and/or work instructions

Experience developing Corrective Action Plans, processing closures and extensions.

Experience performing trending and analysis of information

Ability to develop/communicate metrics (chart/graphs)

Has been Causal Analysis qualified (somewhere)

ORPS reporting experience

Expert-level experience with Excel, pivot tables, macros, charting, etc.

Must have documented experience performing management assessments, causal analysis, tracking, and trending of Performance Assurance data, and development of Performance Assurance metrics.

Experience supporting event investigations/Critiques/Root Cause/Effectiveness Reviews.

Ability to successfully plan, organize, lead, and monitor a wide variety of team efforts to completion.

Ability to prepare and deliver performance status communications to all levels of management, both internal and external.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 5 years in the Department of Energy

Documented experience with DevonWay.

Relationship building, report writing, excellent communication skills, organization.

Preferences:

Prefer prior DOE experience supporting D&D, environmental restoration, and 413.3B construction projects. Experience in developing and nurturing effective high-level internal and/or external customer relationships.
