Title: Measurements Technician

Location: Corning NY 14831

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Pay rate: $25/hr on W2

Summary:

• Collect, organize, analyze and graph data, publish reports, and maintain accurate records regarding products and testing systems.
• Support new product development and enhancements to existing products.
• Perform routine calibration, certification, maintenance, and troubleshooting of test equipment.
• Provide and maintain formal documentation of measurement procedures.

Requirements:

• Education: AAS Preferred in Electronics or other Technology Related Field
• Experience: 0-3 Years
• Requires moderate understanding of the general aspects of the job and a familiarity with terminology and procedures. Follows previously defined procedures. Proposes and implements basic solutions to routine problems. Refers atypical or complex problems to others.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with optical and electronic instrumentation.
• Data analysis skills with Excel or other software package.
• Experience with optical fiber handling
• LabView and/or Visual Basic programming skills.
