Manufacturing Engineer – Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation across our operations. This role is ideal for a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about continuous improvement and delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement efficient manufacturing processes that improve quality, reduce waste, and lower costs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, supply chain) to resolve technical challenges and streamline workflows.
  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to enhance throughput and minimize downtime.
  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop tooling, fixtures, and equipment specifications to support high-quality and scalable manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for production and equipment issues.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and support to operators and technicians to drive consistent process adherence.
  • Collaborate with R&D and product design teams to ensure new product introductions are smoothly transitioned to manufacturing.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering or process improvement role.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and CAD/CAM software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all organizational levels.
