Position: Mammography Technologist

Pay: $68-$73 per hour

Shift Notes: Monday to Friday

Morning shift.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team in Orange County, CA 92612. The technologist will perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures in accordance with MQSA, ACR, ARRT, and state regulations, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure compliance with MQSA, ACR, ARRT, and California state requirements .
• Properly position patients and operate mammography equipment to obtain optimal images.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and image quality standards.
• Educate patients about the procedure, answering questions and ensuring comfort.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to support diagnostic accuracy.
• Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and assist with quality control testing.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• ARRT (M) Mammography certification preferred
• California CRT and Fluoroscopy permit (if required by facility).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through AHA.
• Minimum of 1-2 year of mammography experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to provide compassionate patient care.
