Job Description

An internationally recognized law firm is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join its litigation team. In this role, you will provide critical administrative and secretarial support to a group of attorneys within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to a team of attorneys.
  • Manage attorney calendars, coordinate court appearances, depositions, client meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Draft, format, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and briefs; manage e-filings for state and federal courts.
  • Maintain both electronic and hard copy filing systems; organize and retrieve information as needed.
  • Track and enter daily attorney time entries and assist with client billing.
  • Prepare accurate and timely correspondence, memos, and reports.
  • Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Support attorneys with research, data abstraction, and project preparation.
  • Take initiative in managing workflow and assisting with overflow work or projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum one year of legal administrative experience, with prior litigation experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, iManage, InTapp, InTapp Time, 3E, and Chrome River (or ability to learn quickly).
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a critical, analytical mindset.
  • Commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and confidentiality.
