Job Title: Journeyman HVAC Technician

Location: Queens and Nassau County

Experience: 8+ Years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing HVAC systems for both commercial and residential clients. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring top-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance on heating systems, including boilers, furnaces, and heat pumps.
  • Install new HVAC and heating systems for both commercial and residential properties.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, equipment, and HVAC parts.
  • Travel to client locations, providing timely and professional service.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, industry regulations, and company standards.
  • Clearly communicate findings, repair options, and recommendations to clients.
  • Keep detailed records of service calls, maintenance activities, and system installations.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs and services.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC and heating system troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Punctual, reliable, and professional with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for travel to various job sites.
