Entry Level IT Technician - No Prior Experience Required!

Short Term Contract

Optomi, in partnership with a national brand, is looking for an entry-level resource to support computer imaging and deployments in a short-term capacity. We are excited to be hiring a TRULY entry-level resource who is looking to kickstart their IT career in the metroplex!

Project scope:

• The primary responsibility would be imaging/preparing computers for Windows 11 deployment
• Windows 10 goes end-of-life in mid-October. By that time, we must have all computers upgraded to Windows 11.

Ideal Candidate Traits:

• Attention to Detail : The candidate must demonstrate a strong ability to follow documented procedures meticulously, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the imaging process.
• Organizational Skills : Excellent organizational skills are critical for properly documenting tickets and updating inventory records. The candidate should be adept at managing multiple tasks while maintaining thorough records.
• Customer Service Orientation : The ideal candidate will possess great customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with end-users. Strong soft skills are necessary to ensure positive communication and support.
• Punctuality and Professionalism : A commitment to punctuality and professionalism is paramount. The candidate should consistently demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Eagerness to Learn : We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow their skills in IT. A proactive attitude towards personal and professional development is highly valued.
