HIRING IMMEDIATELY: BILINGUAL HR GENERALIST IN NEW LENOX, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Bilingual HR Generalist to join our team in New Lenox, IL. This individual will be responsible for Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding process. Pay, Schedule, Location

• Starting at $24/hour, paid weekly
• Excellent benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)
• 8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday (on-call)
• Location in New Lenox, IL

Duties and Responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified candidates for open positions, including warehouse staff, drivers, and administrative roles
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to offer letter negotiation
• Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding process.
• Process new hire paperwork and conduct I-9 verification
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and enrollment issues
• Ensure employee understanding and acknowledgment of benefits and company policies
• Manage and process FMLA and other leaves of absence in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Maintain accurate records of employee leave
• Serve as a resource for employees and management on HR policies and procedures
• Address and resolve employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, in a fair and consistent manner
• Conduct internal investigations as needed
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital
• Ensure all HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Process and manage unemployment claims

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous experience in human resources, business administration, or a related field
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• At least 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in the logistics, warehousing, or cold storage industry
• Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruiting, benefits administration, and employee relations
• In-depth understanding of FMLA and other relevant employment laws
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
