The Hospital Lead Lactation Consultant will report to the Nurse Manager and will lead lactation services; deliver inpatient, outpatient, and parental care and education; oversee regulatory compliance for donor human milk; manage the Baby-Friendly designation; train staff and serve as a lactation resource; run classes and outpatient support; leverage infant feeding data to drive best practices; ensure infection control and performance improvement; provide direct patient care; collaborate across the care team; maintain IBCLC certification and required training; and adhere to policies and cost-containment practices 🍼. Candidates earning quick interviews hold a BSN and IBCLC certification and demonstrate knowledge of current nursing and lactation best practices.
