Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and certified Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, deep technical knowledge, and a hands-on approach to cloud architecture and delivery.

Experience & Certification

• 12+ years overall experience in infrastructure consulting and system design.
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience architecting solutions using GCP IaaS and GCP-native services.
• GCP Certifications (any of the following preferred):
• Associate Cloud Engineer
• Professional Cloud Architect
• Professional Cloud Developer

Core Technical Skills

Google Cloud Services:

• Compute Engine (GCE), Kubernetes Engine (GKE), App Engine (GAE), Cloud Storage (GCS)
• Cloud SQL, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Resource Manager, Stackdriver, Cloud CDN, Cloud IAM

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Extensive experience with Terraform , Google Deployment Manager, or similar tools

Scripting & CLI Tools:

• Proficiency in gcloud , gsutil , kubectl

Cloud Migration Tools:

• Familiarity with Velostrata , Sureline , and CloudEndure

Optional (Good to Have):

• GSuite Integration
• Experience with Big Data & ML tools like BigQuery, BigTable, Dataflow, Dataproc, ML APIs

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver robust GCP solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution scope, sizing, and cost estimates.
• Guide project teams in implementing secure and scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure use of best practices and partner technologies within architectural designs.
• Drive competency development through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and organizational standards.
• Contribute to architectural frameworks, reusable assets, and thought leadership.

Additional Skills & Expectations

• Deep understanding of design patterns , performance tuning , and relational/non-relational database design
• Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end solution delivery , from design to deployment
• Experience preparing HLD (High-Level Design) and LLD (Low-Level Design) documents
• Strong grasp of SDLC , DevOps practices, and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving, logical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills
