Front-End Software Engineer

ROLE
We're looking for a skilled engineer to craft interactive tools that make complex data easy to explore and understand. You’ll collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to build modern, responsive web applications and scalable services.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Building fast, user-friendly applications using React and TypeScript to visualize multi-dimensional datasets
• Collaborating with product and research leads to turn business needs into clean, intuitive user experiences
• Developing backend systems to deliver real-time content across various platforms (e.g., chat interfaces, email, Excel)
• Enhancing performance of database interactions for data-intensive visualizations
• Contributing to automation and deployment processes with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code tools
Tech stack: React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Kubernetes.
QUALIFICATIONS
A developer who’s equally comfortable working across the stack and interfacing with stakeholders:
• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of experience building production-ready web applications
• Hands-on expertise with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React
• Familiarity with backend development using Node.js or similar technologies
• Strong database fundamentals, especially with PostgreSQL
• Comfort working with APIs, cloud platforms, and containerized environments
• An eye for performance optimization and usability
