We’re at the intersection of AI, e-commerce, and celebrity culture — and we’re looking for our first Founding Full Stack Engineer to help build the future with us.

What You'll Do

As the founding engineer, you’ll work directly with the Co-Founders to own and evolve our core product — from backend architecture to user-facing features. You’ll ship fast, solve complex problems, and help define the engineering culture from day one.

• Own and scale the OneOff platform ( Python, NodeJS, Postgres, Javascript, Typescript, React, GCP + AI integrations)
• Build performant APIs, data pipelines, and system architecture to support dynamic search and personalized feeds
• Collaborate with design to bring beautiful, intuitive interfaces to life
• Integrate AI and ML outputs into front-end product experiences
• Build tools to ingest, parse, and standardize unstructured public fashion data (social, editorial, etc.)
• Improve product performance, scalability, and UX as user traction grows
• Contribute to strategic product decisions, tech stack evolution, and team hiring.

You Might Be a Fit If You:

• Have 4+ years experience across both frontend and backend (React, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Firebase, or similar)
• Are highly autonomous and thrive in 0-to-1 or startup environments
• Are passionate about building polished consumer products with real-world use
• Have experience working with AI/ML models, APIs, or automation tools — or are eager to learn
• Love fashion, culture, or consumer tech — and want to work on something people actually talk about
• Care deeply about code quality, user experience, and performance
• Are excited about building something from the ground up with real ownership

Bonus (But Not Required)

• You're based in Los Angeles
• Experience with web scraping or data extraction pipelines
• Working knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Previous experience at an early-stage startup or building a consumer app
• Comfort working with design tools like Figma and tailoring frontend to visual polish
