Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various settings including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems according to local codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities - Install fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of existing fire sprinkler systems.
- Maintain and repair malfunctioning sprinkler systems to ensure proper operation.
- Collaborate with project managers and other construction professionals on installation projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, including OSHA standards.
- Document installation processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Provide training and guidance to junior installers and apprentices.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in fire protection systems preferred.
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler installation and repair.
- NICET certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
