Job Description

A leading organisation operating in a high-performance, mission-critical environment is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their Data Center team . This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge infrastructure and play a vital role in maintaining operational continuity across complex systems.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, and safe operation of both critical and non-critical systems in Data Centers. This includes electrical, mechanical, and digital infrastructure across a secure and regulated site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, generators, and building management systems.
  • Operate and oversee electrical systems including fire alarms, access control, CCTV, and life safety systems.
  • Supervise contractors and coordinate maintenance schedules to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Respond to emergency situations such as equipment failures, fire alarms, and evacuations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process innovation.

About You

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years in electrical or mechanical facilities support, or 7+ years as a technician in HVAC or related fields.
  • Electrical/Mechanical certifications are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of engineering design and operational aspects of electrical systems.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital maintenance platforms.
  • Safety-conscious with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
  • Able to lead and evaluate contractors and team members effectively.
