Walton Motors is looking for an Experienced Diesel & Gas Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. We’re seeking a skilled technician with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience, strong diagnostic ability, and ASE certification (or equivalent). Diesel experience and Ford certification are highly valued. Benefits * Health, Medical, and Dental insurance * 401(k) plan * Paid vacation * Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm) — no weekends * Family-owned and operated workplace * Long-term job security * Employee vehicle purchase plans * Advancement and growth opportunities Responsibilities * Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy * Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot systems and components * Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical, HVAC, and more * Communicate findings and repair needs clearly to the Service Advisor * Provide accurate time estimates for recommended repairs * Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer standards * Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications * 2+ years of automotive technician experience required * ASE certification or equivalent required * Diesel experience required; gas engine experience required * Ford certification highly preferred * Prior Ford dealership experience is a plus * Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills (B-Level minimum) * Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools * Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability * Positive, professional attitude with teamwork skills * Ability to learn new technologies and service procedures * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Walton Motors is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive and respectful workplace.
