OVERVIEW:

Insight Global is seeking Electrical Assemblers to join one of our DoD Integrator clients in Huntsville, AL. This is a 100% on-site role, working directly on the production floor. You'll be responsible for assembling electrical and electronic components on printed circuit boards, wiring harnesses, power supplies, and other electrical assemblies/subassemblies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble electrical and electronic components on printed circuit boards, wiring harnesses, power supplies, and other electrical assemblies/subassemblies.
• Cut wire to specified lengths using wire cutters or other equipment.
• Cut plastic sleeves and slip sleeves over wire ends to insulate connectors.
• Crimp terminal eyelets and lugs to wire ends using hand or machine crimping device.
• Route, comb, twist, wrap, tie, and attach wire to terminal points, according to specified board layout using soldering gun and hand tools.
• Read work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine established assembly methods.
• May attach eyelets, terminals, mounting studs, additional wires, breakers, and accessory assemblies as prescribed.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 6 years of hands-on experience in electrical assembly or within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating progressive responsibility and familiarity with production processes
• Ability to work with tools, follow technical instructions, and interpret basic schematics or assembly documentation in a production setting
• Proven reliability in a structured, team-oriented environment with a focus on safety, quality, and meeting production deadlines
