Key Responsibilities-
Lead and execute global regulatory strategies for chemical products and formulations.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and international chemical regulations, including TSCA, REACH, GHS, and other applicable standards.
- Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and communicate risks, impacts, and recommended strategies to leadership.
- Manage regulatory submissions, SDS development, labeling requirements, and product registrations.
- Serve as the main liaison with regulatory agencies and third-party compliance organizations.
- Maintain and improve internal policies, SOPs, and documentation for regulatory processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D, legal, quality, and operations.
- Lead audits, inspections, and internal assessments related to regulatory compliance.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing regulatory affairs team.
Qualifications
-Minimum 10 years in regulatory affairs or compliance within a technical, manufacturing, or scientific industry.
- Minimum 5 years in a regulatory leadership or management capacity.
- Direct experience in the chemical industry is required.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Toxicology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of TSCA, REACH, GHS, and related global regulatory frameworks.
- Proven success in managing regulatory submissions, product compliance, and audits.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with regulatory software systems and document control tools.
- Regulatory certifications such as IRCA, RAC, or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to travel occasionally (domestic/international).
