Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Superintendent to lead the construction of custom residential and commercial pools . This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who understands the intricacies of pool building—from excavation and structural work to plumbing, finishes, and final commissioning.

As Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and delivering exceptional results that meet client expectations and design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of custom pool construction, including excavation, forming, plumbing, electrical, shotcrete/gunite, tiling, decking, and startup
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to ensure timely and efficient project execution
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and project documentation
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and clients to ensure the pool meets aesthetic and functional goals
  • Manage quality control, ensuring premium materials and craftsmanship are delivered
  • Troubleshoot issues on-site and implement solutions to keep projects on track
  • Conduct final walk throughs and ensure client satisfaction upon project completion

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pool construction, with a focus on custom and luxury builds
  • Strong understanding of pool construction methods, materials, and systems (hydraulics, filtration, automation)
  • Experience with high-end finishes such as glass tile, natural stone, and specialty lighting
  • Familiarity with construction management software and scheduling tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural plans, and technical specifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed

What They Offer

  • Competitive salary + performance-based bonuses
  • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO)
  • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
  • Opportunities to work on award-winning, design-forward pool projects
  • A collaborative team culture that values innovation, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction
