Residential Construction Superintendent

Location: Seattle, WA

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are a recruitment agency working on behalf of a well-established residential home builder in the Seattle, Washington area. Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage on-site operations for high-quality residential projects.

This is a confidential search for a builder with a strong local reputation, consistent project pipeline, and a commitment to quality construction.

The Role

The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing daily field operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through completion
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, inspections, and deliveries
  • Maintain construction schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
  • Enforce safety standards and jobsite best practices
  • Conduct quality control inspections and address field issues proactively
  • Communicate effectively with project management and ownership teams
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in residential construction
  • Strong knowledge of residential building practices and sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Experience working in the Seattle market and familiarity with local codes preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
