Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of water, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities construction projects. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, and staying within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction management software, project scheduling, and construction estimating, as well as a strong understanding of construction site operations.
Duties:
- Plan and coordinate construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Read and interpret civil drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Utilize construction management software, such as ProCore or Primavera, to track project progress and manage timelines.
- Manage project teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to ensure all work is completed according to specifications.
- Coordinate project logistics, including material delivery and equipment rentals.
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
- Develop and manage construction estimates, including labor costs, materials, and equipment.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and delays.
- Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Ensure all construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in construction project management, specifically civil land development.
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety regulations.
- Experience with construction estimating and project scheduling.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
