Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic calibration of common manufacturing gauges following established procedures
  • Manage and maintain the calibration schedule for equipment and gauges
  • Coordinate outsourcing of complex calibration activities and qualification services
  • Evaluate maintenance agreements to ensure alignment with internal standards
  • Troubleshoot analytical equipment to identify and resolve basic downtime issues
  • Procure necessary equipment and supplies to support quality control activities
  • Support equipment placement and pre-installation qualification activities
  • Establish calibration and preventive maintenance schedules for new equipment
  • Coordinate outsourced equipment qualification and validation activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to raise awareness of quality standards and support quality issue resolution
  • Participate in technical meetings with customers to ensure quality-related requirements are met
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols, including the use of required PPE
  • Promote a "Safety First" culture and support a safe, injury-free workplace
  • Complete required internal QMS and safety training
  • Utilize IT systems such as MS Office, Teams, LIMS, and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in calibration within a healthcare-related environment (Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or contract manufacturing)
  • Understanding of complex analytical instruments, including ability to generate calibration curves and quantify unknown samples
  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments
