About the Role

This is a consulting role that requires project management and some change management experience. We are looking for a utility player to join our small team of consultants. Our client is Denver based with strong growth in the mining sector. Our team is working to improve business process' and train staff where needed. It would be a 6 month contract (1099) with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Contract extension is a high probability if performing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in sustaining project and study schedules and supporting documents.
  • Monitor timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure continued alignment with project goals.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to track progress and resolve blockers.
  • Contribute to planning and executing stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Support the design and facilitation of workshops and feedback sessions.
  • Help capture, organize, and synthesize input from leaders, technical experts, and SMEs across the organization.
  • Assist in developing and delivering change management strategies and materials.
  • Create communication, training, and support resources that drive adoption of new processes or systems.
  • Support business improvement initiatives with a focus on people, process, and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3 years of experience as a business analyst and understand change management
  • Strong writing and analytical skills to document workflows, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience with project management, impact studies and gap analysis
  • An understanding of change management principles and methodologies
  • The ability to identify issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Experience with understanding and managing emotions, particularly in the face of resistance.
  • Flexibility to adjust plans and strategies in response to changing circumstances is key.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
