A leading general contractor in the Atlanta market is seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to support the day-to-day field operations on active construction sites. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Superintendent with scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and daily site operations
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
• Help maintain construction schedules and monitor progress against benchmarks
• Conduct site walks, document daily reports, and manage punch list items
• Support quality control and ensure that work meets project specifications
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of on-site construction experience preferred (internships or co-op roles will be considered)
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred, not required)
• Working knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and site logistics
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic project management software
