The Rueck Company, a respected leader in industrial manufacturing and repair, is seeking an exceptional administrative professional to join our Beaverton-based team. Working cross-functionally with key departments, this individual will play a central role in supporting day-to-day operations while contributing to broader strategic initiatives.

As the company embarks on a pivotal period of transformation, including the implementation of a new ERP system, this position offers a unique opportunity to evolve in both scope and influence. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a solid background in accounting, who is eager to grow into a strategic, project-focused role.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, is solutions-oriented, and seeks to make a meaningful impact on long-term business success. As part of a culture-driven organization committed to excellence and professional growth, you will have the opportunity to shape your trajectory within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and implement accounting procedures aligned with ERP workflows to support operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost reporting.
  • Lead, evaluate, and provide strategic input into the development and implementation of our next-generation ERP system.
  • Serve as the company’s first point of contact by answering incoming calls and directing visitors.
  • Manage front-desk operations and administrative support duties, including record keeping and document filing.
  • Develop and optimize procedures within the ERP environment to support operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders to align priorities, synchronize plans, and drive process improvements.
  • Identify operational breakdowns, perform root cause analysis, and propose innovative, sustainable solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on cost and inventory accounting, particularly in support of operations and manufacturing units.

Qualifications:

  • Background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in standard costing and inventory processes in a manufacturing context.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with finance systems and ERP platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and influence stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; advanced reporting skills preferred.
  • Experience in high-tech or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
